The State of Creative Operations is Screendragon's second annual Creative Operations report, packed full of insights and takeaways from a survey that we conducted with over 200 creative leaders including Creative Operations Directors, Creative Services Managers/Directors and Creative Directors.

We asked creative leaders about the challenges and triumphs of Creative Operations, the day-to-day stuff – from managing creative briefs to reporting on metrics, and the burning topics in the space for 2019.

Discover some key insights in this report like:

  • Nearly 60% of creative leaders reported that 'briefs missing key information' is the single biggest challenge they face with the creative brief process.

  • Over a quarter of creative leaders say 10+ people are required to review assets.

  • Just over half of creative leaders say they use agile principles to manage creative work.

  • On average, creative resources are spending 2 days a week on non-creative work.
